  • 29th March 2024: We would like to inform all disciples, well-wishers and friends of Suhotra Maharaja that the 17th anniversary of his disappearance (Tirobhava) is on Sunday 28th April this year (more in the section Calendar).

  • 15th July 2023: There are many newly published videos of Suhotra Maharaja’s lectures, seminars, kirtans and bhajans on our YouTube channel.   

  • 16th April 2019: We have received very nice Introduction to Best of In2-MeC by HG Abhaya Mudra dasi. It is published in the section Abhaya Ashram Notes.

  • 20th February 2019: New e-book in the Abhaya Ashram Notes section – Treasures of Vrindavana Dham Acharya writings from In2-MeC compiled by Patita Pavana dasa Adhikary: “A collection of writings by revered Gaudiya Acharyas on the intimate relationship between Shri Shri Radha and Krishna. These sacred texts were collected by me from the In2-MeC journal of Shripad (108) Suhotra Swami Maharaja.”

We would like to express our heart felt gratitude to all devotees, who have helped in any way to make that possible. The softbound book will be distributed with Czech Sastra Dana program.

  • PAS PPV1st April 2016: We have reprinted Czech editions of Suhotra Maharaja’s books Substance and Shadow, The Vedic Method of Knowledge and Vedanta Psychology, India’s Ancient Wisdom of the Mind. This time both titles have been printed as soft-bound, as they are mostly meant for Sastra Dana distribution to the public libraries here in Czech Republic. As huge amounts are being placed there, we were unfortunately not able to print them as hard-bound, due to the lack of finances.   • 20th November 2015: After a long time and with the urging of our well-wishers, we have updated and improved our site. Please have a look at our new section Notes from the Abhaya Ashram It has articles that relate to His Holiness Shripad Suhotra Maharaja by Their Graces Patita Pavana dasa Adhikari and Abhaya Mudra Mataji. Please feel free to download and read Patita Pavana’s (Uddharana’s) new book about the glory days at ISKCON Press where Shrila Suhotra Maharaja joined Shrila Prabhupada and where Roger became Suhotra dasa Brahmachary. As Patita Pavana and Suhotra Swami were very close brothers and friends, you will see that Maharaja’s reminisces of the those times figure deeply into the history of ISKCON Press and hence the book. As Patita Pavana has said, “Suhotra’s understanding of Prabhupada’s love as told through his narrattion of Prabhupada dasa, is actually the crux of the book. That is because it demonstrates the warmth of reciprocation with the spiritual master through bhakti perhaps better than any other.” This is a must read. The book is entitled THIS IS MY HEART and we are sure you will enjoy familiarizing yourselves with what it was like in the earliest days of Shri Guru Maharaja at the lotus feet of Shrila Prabhupada.   • 28th October 2015: With many Suhotra Maharaja’s English books being available in our warehouse, we thought about the ways how to distribute them both to devotee community and non-devotee audience worldwide. This year we have made the books available for free distribution with various Sastra Dana programs, congregational distribution, youth preaching etc. This was possible due to the support of several donors. More read here – Sastra Dana. The books went to Sweden, USA, Ireland, Poland and India.

  • 18th October 2015: Czech Sastra Dana program. For several years Czech editions of Suhotra Maharaja’s books are being distributed to the public libraries in Czech Republic as a supplement to Srila Prabhupada’s books. This year the total amount of 1340 Maharaja’s books was distributed, due to the wonderful cooperation of Czech Sastra Dana team. More read here.

  • 10th October 2015: Our website has been enhanced with Responsive Web Design which makes it look good on all devices (desktops, tablets, and phones). Also the web administration started using Word Press publishing platform. Great thanks to Yadukulesvara prabhu for this!

  • 7th September 2015 - Adrive logo7th September 2015: Since 2009 we have been using free Adrive cloud storage utility for backup and sharing all the audio and video files of Suhotra Maharaja’s lectures. Now Adrive discontinues the Free accounts, so we had to upgrade to paid Premium accounts. At least we got 72% discount for three years, so we can use many enhanced features for very little fee. It makes sharing easier than ever, so we will be using the Cloud as the main outlet for distribution of Maharaja’s mp3 and mpg files.

  • 10th August 2015: Our long time friend and Godbrother HG Vishnu Rahasya Prabhu from Timisoara temple (Romania) had visited Prague. We also discussed how to increase the distribution of Guru Maharaja’s English books. After consultation with other Timisoara devotees, he suggested that they may try to sell the books at their temple. He is very optimistic about it. He bought some of them from us for wholesale prices.

  • 5th July 2015: Slovak Sastra Dana program As last year, we have again donated 20 Czech copies from each of the four titles to Slovak devotees for distribution as a supplement to Srila Prabhupada’s books.

  • 20th October 2014 - IMG_0001a big20th October 2014: Due to the arrangement of our Godbrother Gaura Bhagavan Prabhu we have acquired very rare photos of Suhotra Maharaja from the collection of his first disciple Bhagavata Dharma Prabhu of Germany. These 600+ photos were sorted out, scanned and uploaded to the section Gallery and also to the web services Flickr and Rajce. The Albums are marked with suffix BDP.

  • 25th September 2014: We were approached by one Slovak book distribution company. They were interested to distribute Suhotra Maharaja’s Czech edition of Substance and Shadow to various Slovak book stores. For the beginning they took 200 copies. We hope the sales will be a success.
