Dear brothers and sisters, please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

We just visited Sridham Mayapur and of course Bhaktivedanta Academy and I would like to mention just few words.

It was very inspiring to participate Sm's lectures and talk with him. (Like we know he is officially called vanachary or prabhu or whatever but like everybody there was calling him maharaja so do I here) We had already heard from many sannyasis that he is in strong happy KC, and definitely he is.

During the festival he was giving the seminary "Bhagavata philosophy of the mind" which is based on his new book. That book will be printed soon. The seminary continued about 3-4 weeks. It was done together with one nice devotee who has a degree from psychology. That devotee gave some comments from the western point of view. He said that maharaj has helped him so much with these deep and clear sastric explanations. Besides of the main group of participants there were our good old brothers like Kalavinka, Jagannath Misra, Pandava, Prema Vanya prabhus and also some of our sisters.

Outside the festival time Sm has been giving the Bhaktivaibhava seminaries together with H.H. Bhaktividya Purna Maharaja. They started in the beginning of December last year. Like some Maharajas and Prabhupada's disciples who have been visiting there said to me, these are really the best kind of teachings. I agree.

In addition to the normal lectures they have time for questions and answers, the students can share their realizations, there are also dramas etc. Of course there are some homeworks to be done, esseys or questions. About 40-50 students are normally participating. And there is no charge for the studies, only for the course material which is about 100 Rs per month, The spring season is continuing until Nrsimha Caturdasi from monday to friday. The autumn season continues the same way in the beginning of september.

If you are intrested in these lectures, Kasisvar prabhu from Ukraine is doing all the recordings there. His e-mail address is kasisvar@mail.ru. You may ask if the could send these also to you, and if he can, it is polite to give him a donation to cover the expences.

One evening Jagannath Misra and me had many hours of discussion with Sm in his room. He was enthusiasticly explaining us the basic plan for the Bhakti sastri they are starting next year. That will for example explain the connections between those four books studied in course and teach them at the same time. It sounds really intresting and logical.

Anyway, just to mention some basic news. In general Sm was fully engaged to all these projects, healthy and happy.

Hoping you are well,

Your servant,
Tattvavada das
